Bhubaneswar: Chandan Mishra and Charchit Mishra, the two sons of arrested industrialist and Odisha Stevedores Ltd (OSL) MD Mahimananda Mishra aka Mahima, appeared before the Paradip police on Wednesday in connection with Seaways Shipping general manager Mahendra Swain murder case.

Mahima is now in judicial custody for his alleged complicity in the murder case.

Both Charchit and Chandan appeared before the investigating officer (IO) of the case at the Paradip police station for questioning in connection with the murder of Swain.

Chandan, the elder son of the arrested industrials, is a director of OSL Groups of Companies while Charchit takes care of groups’ exclusive dealership of Hyundai, BMW, Volkswagen, Mahindra and Tata Motors.

On Tuesday, Rajendra Dalei, an accountant with the OSL and a close aide of Mahimananda Mishra also appeared before police and recorded his statement. Police would cross-check Mahima's version, which he has told police during interrogation, with that of his two sons and employee to get a clear idea about the events leading to the brutal murder of the Hyderabad-based company general manager.
