Bhubaneswar: The Confederation of Real Estate Developer’s Associations on India, Bhubaneswar, will organise its sixth edition of ‘annual Property Expo-2017, here at the Janata Maidan from January 12 to 15.
CREDAI Odisha chairman and CREDAI National Governing Council member DS Tripathy said that the show will present a unique opportunity for the regular consumer looking to buy property in this area as well builders who plans to showcase their projects.
“There is a requirement of 3.6 lakhs dwelling units in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Middle Income Group (MIG),” said Tripathy.
He said the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) and the Cuttack Development Authority (CDA) should to provide cheap land to private developers.
He demanded that 20 per cent of the land under the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) be reserved for EWSs and MIGs for affordable housing.
CREDAI was leaving no stone unturned to make ensure that the mega property show was conducted on a par with international standards.
