Nearly 36,000 commercial establishments are operating without trade licences in the city. In order to provide trade licence certificate to the commercial establishments easily, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to launch a special drive covering all the zones of BMC with three specialised camps with six dedicated teams. The drive will continue for ten days from Monday to May 31 in all the zone offices of the civic body.
